نحتفل اليوم بمرور 123 عامًا على افتتاح المتحف المصري بالتحرير، أول متحف في العالم بُني خصيصًا لعرض الآثار المصرية.

منذ افتتاحه عام 1902، احتضن المتحف آلاف القطع الفريدة من مختلف العصور، وكان شاهدًا على أهم الاكتشافات الأثرية، ومنارة للبحث العلمي والدراسات المصرية القديمة.

123 عامًا من حفظ التراث، وتوثيق الحضارة، واستقبال ملايين الزائرين من كل أنحاء العالم.

Today marks 123 years since the opening of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, the world’s first museum built specifically to house and display ancient Egyptian antiquities.

Since its inauguration in 1902, the museum has preserved thousands of artifacts from all periods of Egypt’s history, served as a cornerstone for archaeological research, and welcomed millions of visitors from across the globe.

123 years of safeguarding heritage, documenting history, and sharing Egypt’s civilization with the world.
