في ضوء الإقبال الكبير من الزائرين على المتحف المصري الكبير ووصول أعداد الزيارة اليوم، الجمعة الموافق 7 نوفمبر 2025، إلى أكثر من السعة التشغيلية الكاملة المقررة للمتحف، مما استدعى إيقاف بيع التذاكر لليوم، قررت اداره المتحف، قصر حجز وشراء تذاكر الزيارة ليوم غد السبت 8 نوفمبر، وأيام العطلات الرسمية ونهايات الأسبوع (الجمعة والسبت) على الموقع الإلكتروني الرسمي للمتحف فقط (www.gem.eg).
ووفقاً للقرار الجديد، سيتم وقف عمليات حجز وبيع التذاكر من شبابيك التذاكر بالمتحف خلال هذه الأيام المحددة، على أن تستمر كالمعتاد في باقي أيام الأسبوع عبر الموقع الإلكتروني وشبابيك التذاكر معاً طبقا للطاقة الاستيعابية للمتحف.
وأكدت الإداره، أن هذا الإجراء يأتي ضمن خطة تنظيم عملية الدخول وضمان تجربة زيارة متميزة وآمنة للزائرين، بما يتماشى مع الطاقة الاستيعابية للمتحف، ويسهم في رفع كفاءة الخدمات المقدمة وتحسين تجربة الزائرين.
وأضافت أن جميع الحجوزات المؤكدة مسبقاً عبر القنوات الرسمية سارية كما هي، وسيتم استقبال حامليها في مواعيدهم المحددة دون أي تغيير.
كما أعربت الإداره عن شكرها وتقديرها لجميع الزائرين على تفهّمهم وتعاونهم، مشيدة بالحماس والإقبال الكبير الذي يعكس المكانة المرموقة للمتحف المصري الكبير كأحد أهم الصروح الثقافية والحضارية في العالم.

New Ticketing Policy at the Grand Egyptian Museum Amid Record-Breaking Visitor Numbers
– Ticket bookings for weekends and public holidays now available exclusively through the official museum website
In light of the remarkable and continuous increase in visitor numbers at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) — which today, Friday, November 7, 2025, exceeded the museum’s maximum operational capacity — the museum’s management has announced an updated ticketing policy aimed at enhancing visitor experience and ensuring smooth access.
Under the new policy, ticket bookings and purchases for Saturday, November 8, 2025, as well as for weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) and official holidays, will be available exclusively through the museum’s official website: www.gem.eg.
Accordingly, on-site ticket sales at the museum’s ticket counters will be suspended during these periods, while both online and on-site ticketing will continue as usual on weekdays, in accordance with the museum’s visitor capacity.
The museum management emphasized that this measure is designed to regulate entry, ensure a safe and enjoyable visit, and maintain high-quality services for all guests. It aligns with the museum’s commitment to providing an exceptional experience that reflects its global cultural stature.
The management also confirmed that all previously confirmed bookings made through official channels remain valid, and visitors holding these tickets will be received as scheduled without any changes.
